In David 1:3 we read that Jesus is the inventor of the universe, the earth and everything that has been made. That passage also claims things were created through Him. The phrase “through” suggests in my experience that Jesus was utilizing the power of the Dad channeling through Jesus to produce everything. Understand this passage cautiously and see everything you think. “Things were produced through Him, and without Him nothing was created that was made.” That verse would have said things were created by Him but rather it says through Him. In Steve 14:10 we see Jesus expressing exactly the same thing. “Would you perhaps not genuinely believe that I’m in the Father, and the Dad in Me? The words that I speak to you I don’t talk on My own power; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.”
I think that the oneness spoken of by Jesus in beautiful phrases is a significantly sooner oneness than we could actually wish to master or understand here on earth.
